These are very thin and tinted a gray shade with a black top. You will be receiving 2 of these which come from an old silk mill. They originally held thread but would be perfect for display, holding thread, lace or ribbon. They measure about 8 3/8" long x about 5/8" at the top 3/8" at the base. I believe they are ?maple.
