These are very thin and tinted a green shade with a black top. You will be receiving 2 of these which come from an old silk mill. They origionally held thread but would be perfect for display, holding thread, lace or ribbon. They measure about 8 1/2" long x about 3/4" at the top 1/4" at the base. I believe they are ?maple. I purchased a small lot of these from the closed textile mill.
